At Great Oaks, we have marked Holocaust Memorial Day by reflecting on the importance of remembrance and respect. Each student was given a LED candle to honour the lives lost and affected during the Holocaust and to remember all those who suffered in conflicts around the world. This moment encouraged our students to think about kindness, tolerance, and the importance of standing up against prejudice.
