What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another year at Great Oaks Small School! Parents and carers were warmly invited to join us for a relaxed picnic on the school grounds, which offered a lovely opportunity for families, staff, and students to come together and enjoy the summer sunshine.

In addition to the picnic, we held a cake sale, and students sold the delicious truffles they had handmade during Enterprise Week. In the afternoon, parents were treated to live music, which provided the perfect backdrop to the picnic and created a joyful atmosphere for everyone.

The celebrations continued with our annual awards presentation. We were delighted to welcome representatives from Challenger Troop, who came in specially to present awards to two of our outstanding students. Following this, we presented our House awards, which included recognition for best attendance, sports achievements, individual academic progress, and the House Rounders trophy.

We also introduced two brand new awards this year: the Best Artist and Best Chef of the Year awards, celebrating the wonderful creative and practical talents of our students.

It was a fitting end to a busy and successful year, and we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped to make the day so memorable.
